Last 2 days I was the one ruling the kitchen. Umma (mom) told me a good concept and practice last day. Dont know how many of you are following this, but I think its a grea way to thank God Almighty for proviidng us with food.

While measuring rice for lunch, she asked me to take 1 handful of rice and put it in another cover. This was for the poor. Everyday we eat food and we have to thank God for filling our stomach.

I asked her the reason coz many times before also I had measured rice but never did it. She explained that she forgot to tell me before, but asked e to do it whenever I measure rice.

This seemed a great thing to me. “Service to Man is Service to God” A right implication of the saying.
